Welcome to my new Baclofen Diary
Why have I now chosen to start my Baclofen Diary again?
Well, it's simple. In March 2010, and completely outside of my control, my Baclofen supply was lost. Stolen, in fact.
I had 5 days without any Baclofen and, as I have said elsewhere on this site, Armageddon broke free.
It was awful. Therefore, when my supply was reinstated, I was very much starting again from scratch.
This new B4a Diary / Blog is wholly unique.
If you, or anybody you care about, is taking Balcofen or thinking about taking it, ignore it at your peril.
I wish that I had known this stuff before I started taking Baclofen.
Never before has there been the opportunity for those taking Baclofen, or those contemplating taking it, being able to draw upon the very considerable experience of an experienced medic; someone who has ben taking Baclofen for a year, and who is talking to hundreds of fellow sufferers / Baclofen users all the time.
This really is unparalleled information.
Drawing upon that experience in coming off high dose Baclofen abruptly. And describing it honestly and openly.
Drawing upon that experience in starting Baclofen from scratch. And describing it honestly and openly.
All in all, it will be a genuine live account of life with Baclofen from somebody who knows what you all have gone through too.
Serendipity indeed.
What follows is exactly what I experienced upon acutely stopping Baclofen and on recommencing Baclofen. It is also reasonably typical of many of the effects reported to me by hundreds of fellow sufferers when they start taking Baclofen, or if they stop it for any reason.
It should be required reading for anybody taking or thinking of taking Baclofen.
So, here we go. I'm starting with what happened in the few days after my Baclofen was taken.
Cheers
