Following numerous requests, we are now pleased to offer Personal One-to-One On-Line Mentoring and Support.
Virtually since the first day that the B 4 a site was set up, I have received daily requests for help and advice. Whilst I have never given personal medical advice, there are many things that I have been able to help visitors with.
At the beginning, most of these visitors were people those who were already taking Baclofen and had been doing so for some time. However, I am now receiving regular e-mails from those who have only just started taking it or are just thinking about taking it.
Many of these visitors have asked me if I could 'mentor or support' them on a daily basis, as required, as they start their new journey with Baclofen. After much thought and planning, I have decided, with the help of a qualified counsellor, to offer such a service.
Whenever you start such a new way of life, with a new medication, it is always the first two or three months that are the most important. Consequently, we plan to provide a personal montoring and support service in an initial two month block, followed by monthly blocks thereafter for as long as the individual wishes.
The service will provide as regular e-mail contact as the individual requires. In our experience, this will be daily during the first two months.
There will also be a dedicated contact telephone number for those who wish to speak to one of us personally.
