Obtaining Baclofen

Having decided to take Baclofen, the next thing you have to do is actually get it.

The most obvious, and best, way is to get it on a legitimate prescription from a physician. That way, you are reasonably sure of the following

• That your physician knows all about Baclofen and its potentially great efficacy in chronic alcoholism
• That he or she thinks that it is, therefore, a medically sensible thing to do
• That someone who knows your other medical history thinks that there are no contraindications to you having it
• That someone who knows what other drugs you are taking thinks that it is OK for you to have it
• That the Baclofen you are dispensed is the real deal
• That you are paying a 'proper' price for your Baclofen
• That you will get your Baclofen there and then, and not have to wait often for long periods to receive it
• That you have both a prescriber  and dispenser there to report any problems to immediately, and will get professional answers and help immediately
• That any and all side effects, complications and drug reactions that you might experience are reported to the relevant authorities and disseminated to other physicians for the ultimate benefit of all Baclofen takers who follow behind you; maybe even including you
• And, very importantly, that you can be confident of not running out of your Baclofen

Unfortunately, very few of us are in such a privileged position. Most of us are self-diagnosing, self-prescribing, self-dispensing, and self-monitoring. And that isn't great!

What makes matters worse is that we are not able to go and get the Baclofen that we are self-prescribing from our local bona fide pharmacist, chemist, or drug store. We have to get it through the internet.

If taking Baclofen is a leap of faith (and it was for me), then getting it sent to you through the post is a much bigger one. I can tell you that for sure, my friends.

And I am totally sure that none of us expected that the Baclofen that we sent for could possibly be so very different from that sent for by others. I have to be honest and say that I cannot be sure how different it is. But what I can most definitely say is that your comments over a long period on several discussion forums, and this site, convince me that there must be some difference. Too many putative tentative patterns are appearing.

The results on this page, indeed its very continued existence, rely upon your submissions. Give me a nickname, and you will appear on the B 4 a Wall of Honour. What better accolade is there? Ha!!

This is most definitely NOT a formal 'Which?' type guide. I've not done any formal undercover investigative stuff. It is simply a "Users' Guide' provided by users.

The more you submit, the more accurate it gets. It's as simple as that.

If noone submits, then I will remove it from the site. I have no intention of either promoting or maligning someone's business on the basis of one report. Anecdotes only have value if there are lots of them.

I envisage a similar table for each product / supplier. The rest is up to you now!!
